Collars are generally used for relief of minor neck spasms and to limit head and neck motion. Shoulder supports are designed to promote good posture and as an aid in straightening stooped shoulders. Clavicle splints are designed to limit motion of the clavicle when treatment of a clavicle fracture is indicated.
